Students Taking Action on Darfur

Economic Responsibility

The Government of Sudan is using 80-90% of the revenue it gets from its oil industry to fund the genocide against the people of Darfur. We must refuse to do business with those companies fueling the genocide.

For the Global Days for Darfur, April 6 - April 13, students are focusing their efforts on getting China, Sudan's biggest economic supporter and political protector, to use its influence to pressure the Sudanese Government to stop their attacks on Darfurian civilians. You can get involved in the Global Days for Darfur using the resources on this page.
