Mary Ellen Keough, MPH
Mary Ellen Keough is Director for Educational Programs for the Meyers Primary Care Institute, a joint endeavor of the University of Massachusetts Medical School, Fallon Community Health Plan, and the Fallon Clinic Foundation. She is an Instructor in the University of Massachusetts Medical School Department of Family Medicine and Community Health and serves as faculty advisor to Medical School student chapter of Physicians for Human Rights. Keough is the former Director for Physicians for Human Rights Antemortem Database Project in Bosnia-Herzegovina and the Family Support Project in Kosovo. She is the treasurer and member of the Board of Directors of the Center for Balkan Development.
Keough was previously Director for Education and Research at the East Boston Health Center, the largest community-based health center in New England. She managed the WK Kellogg Foundation's Community Partnership in Health Professions Education and was a representative to the WK Kellogg International Partnership with South Africa and Latin America. Keough holds a Master of Public Health degree from Boston University School of Public Health.
